Sutter Health, Alta Bates Summit Medical Center

Devenney Group worked with Sutter Health and a comprehensive planning team to create a two-phased campus master plan. Phase I included the design and construction of a new 250,000 SF, 13-story Merritt Tower to satisfy California’s SB 1953 Hospital Facilities Seismic Safety Act. The tower provides 6-levels of 180 med-surg beds, two levels of 58 acute rehab beds, one level of a dialysis unit and pharmacy, and four levels of critical support functions. The project achieved LEED Silver certification.
