Five Hills Health Region, Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital

The new 205,000 SF Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital is designed to replace an aging 60 year-old hospital in Central Canada. The design team worked with the hospital through an intense Process Planning Program (P3) to validate initial stretch improvements to clinical satisfaction goals. The project is delivered in an IPD environment that established a dual co-location strategy, allowing work process to adjust to the team’s needs. Collaboration behavior and target value design gave the hospital an additional 20,000 square feet for the agreed upon maximum price.
