HCA, Cache Valley Hospital Women’s Center

Cache Valley Hospital’s need for a dedicated women’s services department was integral to this planning and design effort. Prior to this addition, the hospital did not have a women’s services unit. This 13,190 sf addition and renovation has tripled their capacity for labor and delivery services and has set their own identity as a local center for women’s labor and delivery needs. It gives the hospital a higher acuity rating and is now capable of handling more challenging cases. This new unit is comprised of one c-section suite, 6 LDRP’s, a 3-bed continuing care, a 3-bed well baby nursery and is connected to a 2-bed addition to their existing med-surg unit.
