Dignity Health, Built Environment Improvement Program
Dignity Health recognizes that the built environment has the ability to support healing and improve the experience of everyone who steps onto one of their 39 acute care campuses throughout California, Arizona and Nevada. The concept of this project is to realize Dignity Health’s brand and Hello humankindness marketing campaign as it pertains to each facility’s exterior and interior spaces. This far-reaching initiative includes identifying, documenting, and remediating deferred maintenance while improving the campus, building, and interior aesthetics. This program, upgrades the “look and feel” of each campus and promotes an ongoing commitment to improve the appearance, operation and functionality of their space. The design solutions compliment and support the positive experience of patents, families, staff, physicians, and volunteers by providing a clean, welcoming, and safe environment that empowers people while inspiring the healing process.
