Copper Queen Community Hospital, Douglas Freestanding Emergency Department
Douglas, AZ
This Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) brings emergency services closer to the Arizona border communities and alleviates volumes off of the parent hospital in Bisbee that handles the major emergency cases for the region. This is a fast growing community where healthcare services are increasing rapidly. Working in conjunction with clinical representatives and design/construction managers within our client’s organization, the focus is right sizing the FSED with all the required support services and ensure its speed to market. This FSED includes seven exam rooms, one trauma room, a full service lab, an imaging suite with a CT scan, a digital x-ray, a medication room and nursing support.
“This building is a symbol of our care and concern for the healthcare needs of the citizens of Cochise County.”
Dennis Gallus, President, CQCH Board of Directors.
