Dignity Health, California Hospital Medical Center Tower Addition

Due to California Hospital Seismic Safety Law, removing acute care services from the existing building constructed in 1990 is essential. This new building addition will comprise of a 4-story, 145,000 SF acute care building containing a new emergency department, NICU, labor and delivery, postpartum and antepartum beds, and med-surg beds. The new emergency department will relocate both the ambulance and patient drop-off locations on a very compact, urban site.
