Banner Health, Baywood Medical Center Inpatient Expansion

Banner Health Baywood Medical Center aimed to enhance their patient care service lines by creating two specialty med-surg units focused on neurology and Telemetry. Devenney Group completed a build out of two shelled floors, 18,000 sf each, as well as renovation and upgrade of finishes to approximately 2,500 sf of existing occupied space. The 7th floor 24-bed neuro-focused unit features overhead lifts in over 50% of the rooms and structure in all rooms to allow for easy installation of future lifts. An overhead walking track was installed in the corridor to assist with patient rehabilitation after a severe stroke or brain injury. The 6th floor 24-bed unit is identical to the floor above however is focused solely on the care and recovery of telemetry patients.
